Microsoft has announced Xbox Developer Direct, which will feature at least four major projects. The releases are scheduled for 2024, but Xbox is preparing other games for the next 12 months. Phil Spencer has spent years buying and integrating new studios into Microsoft Gaming. The corporation uses resources to systematically offer players new products.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed Ara: History Untold and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II are due out in 2024. Microsoft also confirmed in its blog that although Xbox Developer Direct does not include Activision Blizzard products, players can expect “news from these teams later this year.” It is possible that new companies will get their own event.
Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones for Xbox Series X|S and PC was announced in 2021. The project is overseen by Bethesda Game Studios veteran Todd Howard.
One of the things we were most looking forward to at this presentation was the first look at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a first-person cinematic adventure game developed by MachineGames.
Set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the game takes place in a logical progression of Indiana Jones at the peak of his adventurous abilities and takes us on a story-driven solo journey to the corners of the globe.
Indy’s classic whip remains his faithful companion, and he can use it to distract, disarm and attack enemies, as well as move through the environment. As you progress, you’ll have a mix of narrative and large areas to explore. With mechanics filled with adventure, exciting action, and puzzles, you’ll need a combination of extreme stealth, melee attacks, and shooting to mislead and defeat your enemies.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
As part of the upcoming presentation, fans will also be able to see new demos and details of Avowed, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

Visions of Mana
A new look at Visions of Mana, the first instalment of Square Enix’s veteran role-playing franchise in 15 years. The presentation was attended by Mana series producer Masaru Oyamada and Mana series creator Koichi Ishii, who presented the updated Mana world and offered a closer look at the development process and gameplay mechanics.
Visions of Mana will be released later this summer, date to be announced, for Xbox X|S Series, PS5, PC, and PS4
And Ara: History Untold
A new video for Ara: History Untold, developed by Oxide Games. Some of its creators presented new gameplay and shared an overview of the game’s main features.
Ara: History Untold will be released this autumn for PC. From the first day on Game Gass.
The Elder Scrolls Online
Also, Gold Road, the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online, a cross-platform MMO developed by Zenimax Online, was presented.
This expansion will offer 30 hours of new content in the main quest, which continues the storyline started last year in the Necrom chapter, where we will have to visit the area last seen in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In The Golden Road, we must investigate the return of Itelia, the Daedric princess who first appears in The Elder Scrolls series, and uncover the plans of her loyal followers, seek help from opportunistic forest elves, and protect the inhabitants of the Western Forest from the chaos caused by the return of the forgotten princess.
Gold Road includes two new zones, new enemies and a new system, Scribing, which can be used to further customise the experience. Scribalism allows you to gain and modify unique abilities to suit your playstyle through editable primary, secondary and tertiary effects.
In the case of Xbox Developer Direct, the developer announced that this is just the beginning, as even more amazing games from Xbox and our partners will be coming to Xbox in 2024.
