The Mac and iPhone versions of Death Stranding have been delayed until early 2024

The Death Stranding Director’s Cut port for Mac, iPhone and iPad could be out in 2023, but it still won’t. This was announced by publisher 505 Games in an ex-tweet. Now it is expected that Kojima Productions’ creation will visit the mentioned platforms in early 2024.

As explained in 505 Games, the specialists needed additional time. “Expect a new release date in early 2024. We can’t wait to welcome more couriers to Death Stranding Director’s Cut,” reads the message from the team. The game’s Mac App Store page lists the date as January 31. It may yet change.

Recall that Apple has recently started to actively promote its devices as a platform for gaming. The company is playing with its muscles, showing the capabilities of its own M1 chips and newer ones. On the iPhone “heavy” projects like Resident Evil Village and the same Death Stranding work only on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, but skillful people were able to run titles on older devices.

If to believe Hideo Kojima, his future games will also be available on the “apple” platform. One of them should be Death Stranding 2, but it has no release date yet.
