Helldivers 2 once again takes players to war-ravaged planets, where they take on the role of elite landing infantry soldiers – Helldivers. Their task is to fight off hordes of space bugs, hideous mutants and other deadly threats. The game offers challenging co-operative gameplay, requiring players to coordinate their actions and think strategically to survive in extreme conditions. Helldivers 2 expands on the mechanics of the original with a number of new features and improvements. Players now have access to an expanded arsenal of weapons and equipment, including new types of grenades, rifles and rocket launchers. A range of new skills and abilities are also available to combat enemies more effectively.
Shooter and co-op features of the new game

As in the original, joint actions are complicated by the mechanics of friendly fire.
Arrowhead Game Studios is not slowing down. They have already announced a number of new content for the game, including new maps, missions, weapons, and challenges. It is also planned to expand the multiplayer mode with new features and capabilities. However, the success of Helldivers 2 raises some questions. The long production cycle and the promise of free expansions call into question the game’s profitability. Players are interested in how the developers will finance the further development of the game and whether they will choose micropayments or other forms of monetisation.
