Palworld breaks Counter-Strike online record on Steam

Survival simulator Palworld has become the second most popular online title in the history of Steam digital store. Statistics provided by the portal SteamDB.

On January 23, Palworld simultaneously had more than 1.864 million players. Earlier, the game studio Pocketpair has already surpassed the record online Dota 2 with 1.295 million users, and now ahead of Counter-Strike 2 with 1.818 million players. At the time of publication Palworld is second only to PUBG, whose peak online was recorded at 3.257 million.

Palworld was released in Early Access on January 19 and received very positive feedback from Steam users. Among the features of the game authors note the ability to collect and breed a variety of creatures, build buildings, farm and explore the open world. Earlier the game hit the first place in the Steam sales chart immediately after release.
