The shooter will be released this year, but it will happen a little later than expected. We know you are waiting for this moment – and believe me, we are too. But a trip to the Zone requires additional preparation to ensure its quality. Thank you for your patience and support. You will definitely see a lot more information about the game throughout the year.

We’ll have to wait a little longer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, but it will be worth the wait. At least that’s what the developers assure us, as they continue to actively polish the game, taking into account the feedback from players during public and private demonstrations of the game at gaming exhibitions around the world.

As explained by GSC Game World, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl game demo allowed the team to learn about the positive and negative aspects of their project.

The players were sincere in their feedback about the game. We are very grateful for drawing our attention not only to the positive but also to the negative aspects. After analysing all the records, comments and notes, we came to two conclusions. One of them is a joy, while the other requires more attention.

According to the developers, many users have named the equipment system as one of the game’s drawbacks. Therefore, the authors have focused their efforts on improving the backpack and continue to optimise the game for PC.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is now scheduled to release on 5 September 2024 for PC and Xbox Series consoles.
