More than just a 10$ patch: The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered scores and trailer with changes

Three days before the release, the embargo on the publication of reviews of The Last of Us Part II remaster by Naughty Dog was lifted. The announcement of the 2020 re-release of the game received conflicting reviews from the public, but the Western press was delighted with it.

The journalists wrote that The Last of Us Part II is still one of the best games in history, which has great gameplay to this day. VGC reviewer Jordan Middler added that fans will get more than just a 10$ patch.

New no-return mode is already in the game

What’s new in No Return?

In the No Return mode, players will find themselves in completely random locations, facing unpredictable enemies and creatures. The main goal is to run around different locations, taking part in long battles with enemies. This mode isn’t just about survival; it’s about unlocking new characters, weapons, and content as you progress. But No Return is not the only new feature in the updated version. The game also contains three game levels cut from the original game, with commentary from the developers.

In addition, there is a new guitar freestyle mode in which players can unlock instruments and complete some unfinished levels that were not included in the original game. Developer commentaries on these levels, major campaign cutscenes, and a fast run mode add depth to the gameplay.
