Leak: add-on for Elden Ring may be released in February

FromSoftware reveals almost nothing about the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring, so gamers can only dream about its release date. Or not? If the leaked material from Thrustmaster is to be believed, the expansion will arrive in a couple of months.

On Reddit, the user ChiefLeef22 shared his find. He posted screenshots from the presentation of stylized gamepads, which should be released in February 2024 “simultaneously with the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and during the anniversary of the Elden Ring.” “I don’t even know if I should breathe copium over this,” wrote the author, who doesn’t seem to fully believe the reveal himself.

Even more interestingly, Thrustmaster controllers from the second phase of the collaboration are set to go on sale in 2025, when some key event or another expansion for Elden Ring kicks off. The images from the original links have already been removed, so it’s not impossible that they contain valid information.

As a reminder, Elden Ring itself was released on February 25, 2022, and the DLC was announced on February 28, 2023. If the studio’s love for the last month of winter will continue in 2024, then gamers should definitely expect something interesting.
