The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will be released on 21 March 2024. This was announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment in a new trailer.
The developers from Guerilla Games studio have told about the features of the port in a new video. The full edition of Horizon Forbidden West will be released on PC, which, in addition to the main game, includes the Burning Shores storyline expansion pack. The PC version will offer support for ultra-wide monitors and upscaling technologies, as well as the ability to unlock the frame rate.
On 21 March, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PC is expected to be released, which promises significant improvements in graphics compared to the PlayStation 5 version. A comparison of the new trailer with the previous PS5 release shows noticeable differences, especially in character detail and lighting. These improvements were made possible by the use of modern technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS.
In addition to the graphical transformation, Guerrilla Games confirms its plans for the further development of the Horizon universe. A new online game based on the franchise and the next adventure of the main character, Eloy, are already in the works. Inspired by the success of the first part, the studio and Sony decided to continue developing the trilogy.
