Sony is preparing a remaster of Until Dawn

An updated and improved version of the legendary interactive horror game was announced at the State of Play presentation. The original Until Dawn was released by Supermassive Games for State of Play.

Another rumour about a possible Until Dawn remaster has been confirmed. An updated and improved version of the legendary interactive horror game was announced at the State of Play presentation. The original Until Dawn was released by Supermassive Games for PlayStation 4 in 2015. Sony announced at the past State of Play event that the Until Dawn remaster will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC. The Until Dawn remaster is being developed by new UK studio Ballistic Moon. The trailer shows several scenes from the original game, as well as new dollhouse scenes.

Until Dawn was released for PlayStation 4 in 2015 and was an interactive horror film starring Hayden Panettiere, Rami Malek and Peter Stormare in which a group of teenagers try to survive a night in a creepy mountain cottage. The original game was developed by Supermassive Games, who later created the spiritual successors to The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry. They are also working on the latest game in the Little Nightmares series.

The Until Dawn remaster will be released for PS5 and PC in 2024, but the exact date is still unknown.
