Free PS Plus games of December 2023

The reason to sign up for the Essential tier of your PlayStation Plus subscription is because of the monthly free games giveaways. You get three new games every month, and December 2023 will be no exception to the rule.

Free PS Plus games for December 2023 will become available on Tuesday, 5 December and will be available until Monday, 1 January 2024. After that, they will be replaced by the January 2024 free PS Plus games, whichever they are. PS Plus subscribers will have to wait until next month to find out about the January offerings, but in the meantime, they can turn their attention to the free PS Plus games for December 2023.

The free PS Plus games for December 2023 will be LEGO 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator and Sable. LEGO 2K Drive and Powerwash Simulator are available on PS4 and PS5, while Sable is only available on PS5, which means PS4 gamers are unfortunately out of luck when it comes to this giveaway. Then again, the December 2023 PS Plus free games won’t be available until 5 December, so subscribers have some time before they can add these games to their collection.

PS Plus December 2023 Player Reactions and Expectations

It remains to be seen how PS Plus players will react to the free PS Plus games for December 2023. On the one hand, none of the games have universal appeal, but on the other hand, there is still some serious value here. LEGO 2K Drive was released just a few months ago, making it a particularly impressive acquisition for even if its status as a racing game may put some fans off. And while Powerwash Simulator isn’t a huge blockbuster, it has a loyal following, and now PS Plus subscribers can see what all the fuss is about. Sable is an open-world game with a unique art style that could be an unexpected hit among PS Plus subscribers.

It will be another week until the free PS Plus games for December 2023 are available, but in the meantime, fans should make sure they have taken advantage of the November 2023 offers.

Free games for PS Plus subscribers in the second half of Decembe

Sony has announced a selection of games that will be available for free to subscribers of the expanded PS Plus in the second half of December. On the 19th, 14 games will be available to PS Plus Extra users, and PS Plus Premium and PS Plus Deluxe owners will additionally receive five classic titles.
